We are now looking for a designer for a consulting assignment at our client's development department in southern Stockholm. The assignment is suitable for you who want to work in a pure designer role and enjoy collaborating closely in a team to make function and flow work in practice.

About the assignment

You will be part of a team of 14 people working on the development of oil systems and cooling for electric machines and motors, as well as to some extent traditional drivetrains. A large part of the work focuses on electric machines.

The work involves ensuring that the entire oil system functions, from individual components to the whole. The components are often relatively uncomplicated in themselves, such as oil pipes or oil diverters, but the function in the system is complex and requires close collaboration between design, simulation, and testing.

The assignment is full-time and initially runs until the turn of the year 2026/2027.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of components
• Adjustment and review of purchased components
• Ensure function, performance, and manufacturability
• Collaboration with simulation regarding properties and function
• Participation in testing and verification before series purchases
• Ongoing problem-solving together with other designers

We are looking for someone who

• Has an engineering degree
• Has experience in mechanical design
• Works fluently in CATIA
• Is communicative, curious, and enjoys asking questions
• Likes to work together with others to solve technical problems
